At Hua Momona Farms, we proudly embrace the spirit of responsible tourism—a practice championed by the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority that encourages visitors to give back to the land and community through voluntourism.
You’re invited to take part in a 90-minute, hands-on experience that supports our farm’s mission while offering a meaningful connection to the culture, land, and sustainable practices of West Maui. Guided by a member of our Hua Momona team, you’ll learn how we cultivate with care, steward the ʻāina (land), and have a little fun along the way.
Activities may include harvesting and washing vegetables, weeding fields, sanitizing growing trays, and light farm work such as lifting, crouching, or carrying materials— all while taking in majestic views, sharing laughs with our passionate team, and becoming part of our extended ʻohana. Your time on the farm directly supports our efforts to end food insecurity on Maui—one harvest, one meal, and one moment of connection at a time.
